A fresh coat of paint

Updated: Sep 25, 2021

I have taken a break from the Marder III project and I have been busy with a couple of side projects these last couple of months.

I have been doing some wood working, making a new tank sculpture which is an allied star made into a 3D structure complete with cast texture and weld beads.

I have also been designing and making my new model paint/hobby stand.

It is a three tier structure so you can see all of your paints labels. I have made it so it all fits together without the need for glue or nails, it also breaks down to a flat pack for easy storage/shipping.

I make these to order so you will be getting a brand new stand each time, I also can paint or varnish these per request. It is made from marine grade ply wood so looks great natural as well.

If you are interested in either of these projects then please get in touch. My email is on the main page of this site.

So, where does the fresh coat of paint come into this?. Well I am ready to come back to the Marder III and finish off the project. I have chosen a paint scheme and organised some new paints and supplies.

I have been thinking about it for a while and I'm really looking forward to getting stuck in and bringing some life to this model.

Thanks for reading and check back soon for more updates!
