I took an opportunity before I started painting to add a few things I either decided to come back to later or I simply forgot about.
I had some extra ammunition racks to go on the inside behind the driver and bow gunner, they were housed in cages that I made from thin brass sheet and then soldered a strap across to hold the racks in place.
I added a cap on the crank shaft with buckles to hold it in place and also made a chain and pin for the tow bar.
Then finally the towing cable. I had some straps with buckles left over from the ammo racks so I used them to tie the cable to the back of the vehicle.
In the wise words of Carl Grissom "That's all, gentlemen, thank you, thank you, gentlemen, that's all".
The next post will be about painting I promise.
