I'm sure most people get some time off over Xmas to spend with family and friends and what not.
I don't know about you, but I love nothing more than spending a good portion of that holiday by cracking open a fresh new model, or starting one I have had in the stash for a while.
This Xmas I am doing just that. I have recently pulled a model from the stash, and I'm pretty excited about it as it is packed full of goodies like sheets of photo-etch, magic tracks, an aluminum barrel, etra ammo and boxes, super crisp detail inside and out and so much more it will be hard to find something to scratch built on it.
It is a Panzerjager 38 Marder III H Ausf .E and it is made by Dragon models number 6420. It is a kit I have had for a couple of years now and after making the Tiger I and having so much fun with it that I wanted to get into this one.
I really liked the look of the Marder III especially after using it in games like World of Tanks and War Thunder, and researching into it I found some really interesting history about the German tank destroyers and the use of captured enemy tanks converted for use in the role.
I will be fully documenting the build over various social media sites with a video being the end result for my YouTube channel hopefully early in the new year.
So stay tuned and I hope your holidays are filled with models and goodness!
